Captain Zokov

So I had some unintended inspiration for this guy.

Zokov, a military ranked Captain for the Grand Irken Empire. He worked his way up from small beginnings, from a simple soldier, to the commanding officer of his own starship, similar to the Massive the Tallest use, in a matter of 24 years of his lifecycle. Unlike most Irken, he not one to conquer a planet after conflict; he prefers to simply engage in combat to test his skills as a soldier and a officer. His main weapon of use is the Anti-matter Proton Beam Rifle, which can effectively dispatch enemies from over 500 meters away. He also carries a titanium folding long sword, in the case of melee combat. Zokov's loyalty does not lie in the Hierarchy, but to the whole of the Empire itself, and is very distrustful of its' leaders, though doesn't question their decisions. Of his crew, he only chooses the most loyal of Irken he can find, whom share his beliefs aswell. Prefering to the vastness of Space, Zokov continually explores the out most reaches of the universe, with little interfering, and learning the differences of each solar system. He and his vessel have explored more sectors then any individual Irken; which is why he is sent to do long re-con missions or...tracking down the Empires' most wanted. Bounty Hunting doesn't fit well with his system of honor, but reluctantly takes the missions.

Zokovs' military exploits are well recorded, but one piece of his past remains a mystery. During his service, he was assigned as a member of an exploratory cruiser; nothing is know about where it was sent, or of the fate of it and its crew. Only Zokov returned, in a damage Spittle Runner barely alive. When questioned, he would give little reply and shutter violently. The only response he would give was that, "I had to leave them!" When asked why, the last thing he would say before huddling in the corner of his holding cell..."They wanted to become whole..."
